A new Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers has just opened in Ahwatukee. The restaurant started serving at 3 p.m. on Monday.
Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, which originated in Scottsdale, offers 1,300 customizable burgers and 130 beer choices. This is the chain's 12th location in the Phoenix area and 14th in the nation.
"Cold Beers & Cheeseburger was a one-location concept in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2011," said S. Barret Rinzler, creator of Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers. "We are thrilled to have this 14th location make its home in the Ahwatukee neighborhood."
The new restaurant is located on Chandler Boulevard, just west of the Interstate 10, and right in the heart of Ahwatukee.
"It's a busy area in the Valley, and Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers could be that perfect fit," Rinzler, said. "We have something for everyone on the menus -- from the many families in the area to the sports fans and others who simply want to enjoy lunch or a fantastic dinner out."
Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers' award-winning burgers are hand-formed from fresh, never frozen, ground chuck, to create a tasty selection of mouthwatering half-pound burgers. Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers has something for everyone: a large selection of beer, wine, and spirits, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
The restaurants also showcase favorite local and national sports on 44 Hi-Definition flat screens TVs. This latest location spans more than 5,000 square feet, including the patio. It seats more than 200 guests.
Happy hour runs Monday through Friday, 3 p.m.-6 p.m. featuring $3 domestics, $4 Four Peaks pints, $6 select appetizers, and $8.95 All-American Burgers with choice of side.
