I write on 3” by 5” colored cards and tape it above my computer. Why? Because I need an empowering reminder when things aren't moving as quickly as I'd like or I am feeling a tad stressed. My two favorite reminders are:
~I am grateful things go my way.
~I am open to have things go my way.
~I have faith things will go my way.
~I am grateful things are manifesting.
'How will this help me?' You might ask. First, remember you don't need to be perfect. That’s what’s scares you from deciding. You put pressure on yourself to be perfect making yourself crazy or feeling overwhelmed. Striving to be the:
- Perfect Size 2 creates eating disorders.
- Perfect Mother, Father, Daughter, Son or Person creates a feeling of shame, and a sense of not being good enough.
- Perfect anything keeps you feeling stuck and fearful.
- Perfect means there is only one right answer.
- Perfect means you sabotage creativity.
Perfection is a relative term, accept that and be happy with “what is” right now. What if you want to change? You can. “The Point of Power Stays in the Continuous Present.” You can change in the next continuous moment.
