Pooja Doehrman has been a practicing OBGYN in the Valley since 2011 after graduating from Michigan State University. Doug Doehrman is a native of Ahwatukee, born and raised in the valley, he went to Desert Vista High School and is a practicing emergency room doctor. The couple bought My Gym Ahwatukee in Nov 2017 after their kids had been members and were disappointed the gym might close. My Gym Ahwatukee provides developmentally appropriate physical education, dance, and sports classes that teach fundamental social and physical skills important to early childhood. It also provides a community to parents looking to share their experiences and build relationships with other families here in Ahwatukee. Since purchasing the gym they have added several classes, hired additional staff, and have participated in community service and engagements with other local businesses.
