Dr. Woolaver was born in Nova Scotia, Canada and then later moved to Calgary, Alberta. He attended the University of Alberta for undergraduate Biochemistry major/genetics minor and received his DDS from the University of Alberta in 1996.
He married his wife Allison right after graduating, and then they moved to Oregon where he worked as a general dentist for 1 ½ years before going back to Canada to get his Masters degree in Orthodontics at the University of Manitoba.
After a three year residency in Orthodontics, they moved here to Ahwatukee in 2001. Dr. Woolaver worked at Southwest Dental group in Tempe to get sponsored for his greencard.
He and Allison had their daughter, Maya, in 2003 and their son, Ben, in 2005.
Dr. Woolaver opened Woolaver Orthodontics in Ahwatukee in 2008 and he became a US citizen in May 2014.
